For the years I had lived through, grown up from a little girl to the way I am now, I should say, this is the greatest blessing from God, for having such loving parents.
I knew that from the day I am born, I am showered by the love from my parents.
I shall describe my dad as a strict and serious looking person when you first meet him; he had the look to scare the children, that’s why I am always taught to be obedient when I was young. I used to think that he is fierce, but as I grown up, I realised the reason for him to be so strict to us. Dad had put high hope on us, and this is his philosophy to educate us to be obedient and behave well. Deep in his heart, he is a loving and caring person, and he actually loves children a lot!
In the past, daddy taught us to be independent by leaving us alone or ignore us when we pleaded him for help in difficult situations. I used to think that he is heartless, but now I knew every single little decision he did for us is the opportunity for us to thrive in difficult times. He let us to overcome the difficulties by our own which he knew we can cope with it.
This is just like the way our Lord test us,
"God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out."
1 Corinthians 10:13
1 Corinthians 10:13
Being from a poor family since young, he had tried so hard from a zero to what he is now, though he is not highly educated, the hardship he had been through worth the fullest respect from his children.
Daddy is the hero in my life, by teaching me a lot of useful things in life, being protective, bring us joy in various moments, I still love the way he used to brought us to swim when I am young, strolled at the seaside, forced us to went for a jog in the park every weekend, hiked mountain with him, sent us to school daily instead of following school bus, and also as a great chef to cook us good food occasionally!
Those are the moments that I missed so much now as I am staying far from home now, for this special session; I am wishing dearest daddy and also all the fathers a Happy Fathers’ Day!
Praise our Lord for all that He gave me, especially the blessings on my family.
*Daddy's daughter*
